Three Reasons Why I Switched to Dubsado

Ever since launching my business two years ago, I've used the same client management system and I've always felt the same way about it — it was alright. Lately though, I felt more and more like it wasn't doing enough to automate and systemize my client processes, not to mention everything seemed a bit messy and unorganized, so it was definitely time for a change. Since one of my biggest goals for the year is to refine my business systems and processes, exploring other options was high on my to do list.
I reached out to my Instagram audience to ask what their favorite client management systems were and I got an overwhelming response that Dubsado was the only way to go. I spent a few weeks exploring their free trial (you can set up 3 clients in their system for free) and loved everything about it! My timing must have been spot on because last week I pulled the trigger during their 2nd Birthday Sale and snagged a subscription at a fraction of the cost. WIN.
While Dubsado has plenty of awesome features, there are three that made them stand out above the other CMS out there.
I love working with clients again and again to enhance and expand their brand. Some of my clients have even been with me practically since the beginning! With so many projects, the need for a client portal was becoming more and more obvious.
With Dubsado, clients can see all their documents like contracts and invoices, as well as tasks and emails all in one place. Talk about an amazing resource for them!
Even though I'm hyper-organized, every once in a while something seemed to slip through the cracks with my old content management system. I love, love, love the workflow feature in Dubsado and how easy it was to apply to my client projects every step of the way. With workflows, you can automate everything — from emails, to contracts and invoices, to forms and telling clients what to expect. And don't worry, you can pause workflows to add personal touches and information relevant to certain projects. Already, implementing workflows has saved me so much time! Again, the big goal for me here is to work on getting everything systemized so that each of my clients has an amazing experience when we work together, and workflows help take care of a big chunk of that.
It does (almost) everything
Before Dubsado, I used one tool to send client forms, a different tool I used for keeping to do lists, and another tool for tracking the time I spend on different client projects. Now, I don't think there is one CMS that is the "end all, be all" and will do everything that every single user needs, but Dubsado is pretty close for me! Not to mention, their customer service has been absolutely extraordinary. I love how open the owners are about the new features they are adding and their Facebook Community has also been extremely helpful in getting everything set up and answer any other questions I've had.
